KM
Professional Development Program Overview
This Knowledge
Management (KM) - Knowledge Environment Engineering (KEE)
Professional Development Training Program is the largest
knowledge-based professional program in the world designed
to provide education and support to serious
knowledge-based
practitioners. More than 3500 professionals have enrolled
in the
program and workshops,
representing organizations, governments
and individuals worldwide.
This program prepares you for
level 1 CKM®/CKEE™ certification awarded by
the eKnowledgeCenter (eKC).
The program covers the management of human knowledge systems in business and
government settings. There
are two ways to receive training: e-Learning with a four
day face-to-face workshop or eLearning Only. The
e-Learning Only option includes an online workshop that
simulates the training provided in the face-to-face
workshop. The face-to-face and
online workshops are designed to train
knowledge professionals on how to
plan, analyze, design, manage, and monitor a knowledge-based initiative,
based on two sample types of organizations: Retail and
Consulting. The goal is to give
"hands-on" exposure that enables participants to add
value to their companies and clients the day they return to work. See Face-to-Face and Online
Workshop Breakdown for
class details. The
training is a combination of self-paced e-Learning
courses and either a four-day face-to-face workshop or an intense
online workshop.
